Education
Knowledge is power.
We have written the following Resource Guides:
How to Create a Trust: a guide for people living in British Columbia who are receiving Persons with Disabilities Benefits, and their families.
The CSIL Handbook, a step-by-step guide for people who wish to apply for the Choices in Supports for Independent Living program.
Rights and Responsibilities of people receiving home support services.
We offer:
Computer skills training on an individual basis through our small computer lab.
Office skills development, through in-office volunteering and project development.
Community outreach by going into the community to educate people about our organization and what we do, and by encouraging our members to become actively involved in the community.
An informative newsletter written by and for people with CP.
