The Voice of the Cerebral Palsied of Greater Vancouver (VCP) has been a non-profit society, under the Societies Act of British Columbia, since 1977. The VCP is a self-help support society formed in the firm belief that Cerebral Palsied (CP) adults are the only experts on their own needs and aspirations. The VCP is controlled and operated solely by adults with Cerebral Palsy and other birth defects. It is the only organization in B. C. which truly represents Cerebral Palsied people. The VCP was formed to provide a continuum of services and programs necessary to assist Cerebral Palsied individuals in developing the skills and confidence to assume a productive and meaningful role in society.

The web site contains three sections: "On this site" (links to articles that the VCP feels you might like); "Links to Disability Related Sites" (Selected links to sites which have some disability or Cerebral palsy significance; and "Contacts" (our addresses ). You can go to each section by "clicking" on the coloured text or using your browser's scroll bar. We hope you enjoy our site and come back often! You can also find a "Donations" area. The link is in the "On This Site" section.

The BCCPD link has been changed to their BC web Site. I've also added a link to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy and The online version of the Merk Medical Reference. The Merk reference is located here. There is a link to Comfort Clothing - a BC web site that sells outer wear and/or adapted clothing for people with disabilities. You can find them in the Links to Disability Related Sites section of this page.
