Fundraising

We are a small, non-profit organization. We accept donations online through CanadaHelps, an easy and secure method, which automatically issues official tax receipts to donors.We also have people fundraise on our behalf through telephone, door-to-door, donation boxes and (on Vancouver Island only) selling chocolate bars. We appreciate every donation we receive and we issue official tax receipts (from the office) on request for donations over $20. Our door-to-door fundraisers ALWAYS provide a pre-printed, professional-looking  temporary receipt at the door. In the case of chocolate bar sales, we provide a sales receipt in lieu of a tax receipt. When approached for a donation at the door, please write down the fundraiser’s name and request to see the receipt book before giving money.

If you wish to make a donation to the VCP, you may do so here. Just click on the "CanadaHelps.org" donate now graphic, and you will be taken to an online donation form maintained by CanadaHelps.org.  Please fill out the form, submit it to CanadaHelps.org, and push the back button on the CanadaHelps.org window; and you should be returned to the VCP site.
